one really long day. i had barely slept when the alarm clock woke me up. we had to go all the way to jersey coz they had the only available tickets to go up the statue and the only available time was for... *drum roll* 8.30am. uh-huh.
i had dedicated enough time for getting lost on the way [we left the house before 5am] yet we arrived at liberty state park with only a few minutes to spare.
sleep-deprived and food-deprived, we survived. we even braved another unfamiliar commute to the jersey gardens.
all in all, i'd give us a pat in the back for the perseverance.
it was freezing so i went ahead
while sheryl took pictures.
we didn't notice the first train leave
but another one came soon after.
that short arrow
actually means an endless walk.
